What Lifelong Learning Means to Me

"Lifelong Learning" seems to run in the family. I have a much older brother who continues to patronize libraries in his town and to attend classes at the local community college. While I have not attended college classes recently, I love learning new things constantly. Challenges seem to make life more interesting. Failure to learn new things would be incredibly boring! For example, two days ago, I picked up a library book (what else?) and read the informational notes in the first two chapters about a topic I was familiar with but had not previously read definitions and applications. I am quite satisfied to have added new knowledge and in trying some of it out, found it actually worked! Yeah!

First Blog

This is my very first blog. I'm wondering how I will remember the URL to get back to it. I have written the address on a notepad, so hopefully I won't have problems accessing the blog. I wonder if all new bloggers have this same thought? I was hoping I could save it to a "favorites" site. Well, off to new adventures!

2.0 Learning

Hello,

I'm excited to begin the "23 Things." So far, the lessons have been informational and have not been difficult, especially since I have other people to discuss how to go about viewing, adding text, selecting layouts, etc.

7 1/2 Habits

I think it would be great to start blogs and other applications of 2.0. I hope I can master some of the applications before 2.0 is "too old" and 3.0 is in! If teens can master these, I'm sure older participants in the world of technolgoy can also learn. My biggest obstacle, though, is finding time to work on the short lessons. I tend to give everyone else time to work on the lessons, but forget about myself.
